Clean facilities and friendly staff made the stay enjoyable. Check-in was smooth, but room cleanliness was lacking. Had a bug issue in our room. Proximity to the beach is a major plus.

Proximity to the beach is a big plus, just a short walk away. The room cleanliness was lacking, with hair found in the bed. Breakfast had limited options, which could be improved. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great beach access and clean rooms. Wi-Fi was slow and parking was pricey.

Just a good pick for a swift stopover in Myrtle Beach with very good value for money. Clean room and friendly staff.

pleasant hotel, pleasant atmosphere with a clean, updated environment that was perfect for unwinding after exploring the area and a welcoming lobby where I was able to comfortably work on my computer while chatting with friendly staff members.
Nothing to fault.

The beds were super comfortable, making it hard to get up each morning! The staff was so friendly and gave us amazing tips on kid-friendly spots to check out. Plus, being pet-friendly meant we could bring our furry friends along for the fun!
can recommend 🐶❤️

The room's cleanliness was a significant issue. The shower vent was filthy, and the toilet base was dirty. The beds were poorly made, with dingy sheets that had noticeable stains. I struggled with noise from the air conditioning units outside, making it difficult to rest well. Temperature control was fair, but the overall ambiance felt uncomfortable. There was a lack of basic amenities, such as additional pillows for the sleeper sofa. The location was decent, with good proximity to the beach, but the room’s condition left much to be desired.

During our xmas stay, we loved the beautiful aesthetics of the hotel, from the welcoming reception area to the cozy breakfast spot. The pool area was a favorite, offering a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle with its peaceful setting. Also, the location was ideal, being conveniently close to key tourist attractions and dining spots.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The parking fee and pet fee were unexpected additional charges that left a bit of a sour taste.

The breakfast hits the spot every morning. The open area with a cozy fireplace and lovely pool is a nice touch.
The thin walls make for some questionable bedtime stories from neighbors.

It was a nightmare! The shower leaked everywhere, turning the bathroom into a mini pool. We were left cleaning up our own mess with towels and got zero help from staff. For what we paid, this was unbelievably frustrating!

we faced significant issues with the cleanliness of the room and breakfast service, which left much to be desired. Enhancements in these areas could greatly improve the overall experience.

I loved how close it was to the beach and restaurants. The staff were super nice, and I got a room with a nice view of a pond and the sunset. Plus, being able to bring my dog for a reasonable fee was great! Just wish the cleanliness was better—hallways and rooms needed some serious attention.

I loved how close this hotel was to so many great places like Ripley's Aquarium and the Pavilion Park, making my strolls around Myrtle Beach super enjoyable with less than a 5-minute walk to delicious restaurants like Carolina Roadhouse and New York Pizza; the hotel itself was clean, with friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast spread. There could be some improvements with noise insulation, but the overall experience was fantastic!

Great location. Close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The front desk staff were exceptional—accommodating and knowledgeable about nearby kid-friendly attractions. Ample parking and a nice area for pets were also big pluses. cleanliness left much to be desired. Stained carpet and moisture issues rendered the floor unwalkable without shoes. Housekeeping was lacking; no regular service and I had to request towels. Noise traveled through walls, making for an uncomfortable stay. There's promise here, but significant improvements in maintenance and noise control are essential for a worthwhile return. Pets are welcome, but the management needs to ensure a pet-friendly environment is respected.

Our room at La Quinta was cozy and had a nice sitting area, making it comfortable to relax after a long day of exploring. The ironing facilities were convenient as we were able to quickly touch up our clothes before heading out. The heating and air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we did notice that the bathtub could have been cleaner, and there was a lack of free toiletries provided. It would have been nice to have some complimentary items available to use. the housekeeping service was not as thorough as we would have liked, and we had to request fresh towels during our stay. On the bright side, the flat-screen TV in the room was a nice touch, and we enjoyed watching a movie before bed. The am/fm alarm clock came in handy for waking up on time to start our day of activities. We also appreciated the availability of laundry services on site, making it convenient to freshen up our clothes during our trip. our experience at La Quinta was a mix of positives and negatives.

Great location! Easy walk to the beach, nice restaurants, and mini golf nearby. The staff was friendly and very helpful!
It wasn’t inexpensive, but reasonable for what you get.

Great location, just a short walk to the beach. Dog-friendly, which was a major plus for us. The staff was friendly, but the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired—mildew smell and hair in the shower. Walls were thin; we spent a sleepless night due to barking dogs and noisy guests. Breakfast options were limited, and the coffee could use an upgrade. it was a mixed experience. I wanted to love it, but the issues overshadowed the positives.

My friends and I had a blast hitting up Broadway at the Beach and catching some rad waves at the Golf Club. The breakfast was solid fuel for our adventures, and the pool was off the chain. Anaka made sure we were set with fresh towels every day. It was lit!
Just wish they had a sick rooftop bar or club for us teens to vibe at night! .

We had a fantastic time at Broadway at the Beach, enjoying the exciting attractions perfect for family bonding.
My wife says that more kid-friendly entertainment options could enhance the family experience.

I was delighted by the damp carpet in my room, a true foot exfoliation experience. The dust-filled bathroom vent really added that allergic touch. The lack of housekeeping just added to the charm of my family reunion.
The luxurious pillows were just begging to be replaced.

As we embarked on our romantic escape, we found the hotel close to the beach, a cozy restaurant next door, and just a short drive from the lively boardwalk. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to lend a hand, making our stay feel warm and welcoming. the lobby's cleanliness and bright ambiance added a pleasant touch to our experience.
The room had some noise leakage through the walls and vents, which made it a bit challenging to fully relax.

we had a comfy bed and great access outside for our pet. the location was close to the water, and the room was clean in appearance and did not smell. Our experience at La Quinta was pleasant, and the hospitality of most of the staff was greatly appreciated. debbi, the assistant hotel manager, was so helpful, friendly, and took care of all our questions and needs. breakfasts were yummy- especially waffles!
Nothing 🙁

The convenience of being just a 5-minute walk to the beach was fantastic. We also appreciated the pet-friendly policy. The only downside was the lack of a balcony, but overall, I'll recommend this hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at a hotel located just a few blocks away from the beach. Being on a low-budget trip, we appreciated the proximity to various affordable restaurants and easy access to our desired destinations. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, which made our experience even better. The hotel offered a pool and exercise room, although the pool was outside. While the breakfast options were limited, the front desk staff made up for it with their assistance.
The room we initially stayed in was located right behind the elevator, which caused noise disturbances during the night. However, the staff promptly resolved our issue and moved us to another room, albeit with smaller beds.

I chose La Quinta for its proximity to the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful customer service agents who assisted me in finding nearby dining options.
Facility under renovations, temporary lobby.
